Who are you and what do you do?
Justin Moorhead. My brother Levi and I own Moorhead Service Company — heating, cooling, and electrical for New Braunfels, Seguin, and most of the towns in between. I'm usually the one in the attic while Levi's building websites.
How did you end up in New Braunfels?
We grew into it. The company started in Seguin in 2022 — we started with one van and a last name to live up to. New Braunfels kept calling, literally, until it became home base for half our work. Now our techs know these streets better than the GPS does.
What does a perfect New Braunfels day look like for you?
A day where nobody's AC breaks — so, December. Honestly though: early job done by noon, burgers with the crew, then the Guadalupe if the flow's right. I check the river gauge more than the weather.
What do most people not know about this town?
How fast it's growing and how much the trades are holding it together. Every new neighborhood out here is a hundred families who are going to need somebody honest when something breaks. This town runs on people who show up when they say they will.
Where are we most likely to run into you?
Buc-ee's at 6am, some attic by 8. After hours, wherever the tailgate is down and somebody's cooking.
